Returns and refunds

These terms apply to purchases from MadeByQinn and do not limit your statutory consumer rights.

Cancellations before fulfillment

You can request cancellation of your order before the item has been fulfilled by emailing tuinqinn@gmail.com with your name and order number.

Existing original paintings

If you are a consumer in the European Union, you have a 14-day cooling-off period for online purchases, starting when you receive your painting. For orders containing several items delivered separately, this period starts when you receive the last item. During this period, you may withdraw from your purchase without giving a reason.

Notify us of your withdrawal within this period by emailing tuinqinn@gmail.com and including your name and order number. You may use the model withdrawal form below, but this is not mandatory. Return the artwork within 14 days of notifying us of your withdrawal. You are responsible for the direct cost of return shipping.

Pack the painting carefully, preferably using its original protective packaging. You may inspect the artwork as you would in a shop. You are only liable for any diminished value resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature and characteristics of the artwork. If the painting was delivered to you undamaged but you cause damage through such handling, we may reduce your refund by the actual resulting loss in value, to the extent permitted by law. Any deduction will reflect the documented loss in value, not a fixed penalty. We will explain the reason for the deduction and how it was calculated.

Refunds

If you withdraw from your entire order, we will refund the purchase price and the cost of our least expensive standard delivery option. Additional costs for a more expensive delivery method will not be refunded.

We will issue your refund within 14 days of receiving your withdrawal notification, using the original payment method unless we agree otherwise. We may withhold the refund until we receive the artwork or you provide evidence that you have sent it back, whichever happens first.

Personalised commissions

The statutory right of withdrawal does not apply to paintings made to your individual specifications or clearly personalised for you. We will inform you of this exception before purchase. An existing original painting is not automatically exempt simply because only one copy exists.

Damage or an incorrect item

If your painting arrives damaged or you receive the wrong artwork, contact tuinqinn@gmail.com with your order number and, where possible, photographs of the artwork and packaging. We will work with you to find an appropriate solution. If a return is necessary because of damage on delivery or an error on our part, we will cover the return shipping costs. Your statutory rights concerning defective or incorrectly supplied products remain unaffected, including for personalised artwork.
